1. What MaraRoom is

MaraRoom is an introduction platform for Maasai Mara University students looking for roommates. We help students find each other. We do not sign leases, verify identities, inspect rooms, or handle any part of the actual living arrangement.

2. No verification

We do not verify the identity, honesty, background, or legitimacy of any user. Profile information is self-reported. It is your responsibility to conduct your own due diligence before agreeing to live with anyone.

3. Not our liability

MaraRoom is not responsible for theft, fraud, disputes, damages, injuries, or any loss arising from a roommate arrangement made through this platform. All decisions and risks are yours.

4. Meet safely

Always meet a potential roommate in a safe, public place before making any commitment. Do not send money or personal documents to anyone before meeting in person.

5. Contact information

Contact information (phone, WhatsApp, email) is only revealed to matched users after a match request is paid for and approved by an administrator. Any attempt to include contact information inside public fields will be rejected.

6. Payment

The connection fee is KES 100 (or 1.3 USDT). Fees are non-refundable once a match has been approved.

7. Prohibited behavior

Fake profiles, harassment, fraud, or any inappropriate content will result in immediate suspension.
